Following his graduation from law school in 1986 from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, Thomas Pietrantonio, Esq. served as the sole law clerk for Judge William C. Gardner of the DC Superior Court. During that year Judge Gardner was the Presiding Judge in the Civil Division, overseeing all civil court trials in the District of Columbia.

Following his clerkship, in the fall of 1987 Thomas Pietrantonio, Esq. became associated with the law firm of Cusack & Stiles, LLP located in Manhattan. He was with that general practice firm for 11 years, and practiced in a wide array of areas, including Surrogates Court practice, Wills and Trusts, Real Estate, and general civil litigation.

In 1998 Mr. Pietrantonio opened his own law practice in Port Washington, NY located in western Nassau County. His practice covers all of Long Island, the five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester County. The law firm of Thomas Pietrantonio, Esq. is dedicated to providing quality legal services in Surrogates Court matters, Guardianship proceedings, Estate Planning and Real Estate transactions.

Surrogates Court matters handled by the firm include probating Last Wills, administering estates in the absence of Last Wills, as well as probate contests, and accounting and kinship proceedings.

In over 75 guardianship cases Thomas Pietrantonio, Esq. has represented petitioners seeking the appointment of a guardian, served as Court Evaluator conducting investigations required by the Court prior to a hearing, as counsel for persons alleged to be incapacitated, as trustee of trusts created by the Court for persons with special needs, and as guardian for persons deemed to be incapacitated.
